Fashion Textiles: Managing Post-Brexit Customs for a Fast-Fashion Brand
Customs entries pre-lodged through a licensed broker before the truck leaves Spain
Fast-fashion textile exporter, Catalonia
Challenge
Post-Brexit customs requirements caused 2–3 day delays at the French-UK border. The client's previous freight forwarder used third-party customs brokers, creating communication gaps and inconsistent documentation. Seasonal peaks (pre-collection launches) amplified these issues, with shipments occasionally held for 5+ days.
SAVA Solution
SAVA LOGISTIC and its licensed customs broker pre-cleared all documentation before the shipment departed Spain. EORI registration, HS code classification, and Rules of Origin certificates were prepared in advance. The truck crosses at Calais-Dover with the customs entry already lodged, so clearance is not what holds the load.
