Export Manager

Automotive paint supplier · Catalonia, ES → Bavaria, DE

ADR Class 3 ·

Quote request

22 pallets of water-based and solvent-based paints (ADR Class 3, UN 1263) from a Catalan paint manufacturer to a German automotive Tier-1 in Munich. JIT window: delivery within 72 hours of pickup.

Service

Loaded Barcelona Tuesday 18:00, delivered Munich Friday 07:30 — 61-hour door-to-door including ADR paperwork handled in-house. Driver with ADR Class 3 certification; MDGD + written instructions prepared same day.

We'd been burned twice by carriers who said 'yes, we do ADR' and then subcontracted. SAVA ran the whole thing with their own driver and docs. No chasing, no surprises.

Logistics Coordinator

Premium beauty retailer · Andalusia, ES → Île-de-France, FR

Tail-lift delivery · LTL

Quote request

14 pallets of cosmetics to four retail stores in central Paris with no loading dock — each delivery needed a tail-lift and a two-person crew for curb-to-store handling. Crit'Air ZFE compliance required.

Service

All four drops completed in one morning window (08:00–13:00), tail-lift equipped for each stop, Euro 6 vehicle pre-registered for Paris ZFE. Store receivers signed POD on tablet, photos back to shipper same afternoon.

Central Paris delivery without a dock is the reason I lose sleep. Their dispatch asked about the curb-height before they loaded in Barcelona. That's the difference.

Head of Supply Chain

Industrial chemicals exporter · Valencia, ES → Canton of Zürich, CH

Customs-managed · export/import clearance

Quote request

FTL of speciality chemicals across 9 different HS codes to a Swiss distributor. Needed Spanish EXS + Swiss import clearance coordinated; customer on DDP terms with Swiss MwSt pre-paid.

Service

EXS filed by a licensed customs broker we coordinate day of loading. Swiss broker received docs while truck was still in France — customs cleared at the border in 40 minutes. MwSt advanced by broker, invoiced separately. Delivered into the Canton of Zürich on the date quoted.

Nine HS codes is where most carriers break. Their team classified the load cleanly, and Swiss customs didn't even pull us aside.

Consumer-electronics distributor · Multi-origin Spain → București, RO

Multi-stop picking · consolidation ·

Quote request

Pickup from 4 different Spanish suppliers (Madrid, Zaragoza, Valencia, Barcelona) on consecutive days, consolidate at Castellar del Vallès hub, then to a Bucharest distribution centre. Total: 26 pallets, mixed commodities, no ADR.

Service

Picks completed Mon-Wed with a single picking truck shuttling to the hub. Consolidated Thursday AM, dispatched Thursday evening, delivered București Sunday 09:00 — 5 days from first pickup to final delivery. No transhipment damage.

Four suppliers, four schedules, one consolidated load at the destination. Saved us three separate groupage bookings.

Export Director

Automotive components · Catalonia, ES → Greater Manchester, UK

Post-Brexit customs-managed ·

Quote request

FTL of brake-system components (non-ADR) to a UK automotive OEM Tier-2 in Manchester. GB EORI already in place on consignee; shipper needed EXS + rules-of-origin docs for preferential duty under the EU-UK TCA.

Service

EXS filed by a licensed customs broker we coordinate, rules-of-origin statement prepared from the BOM. UK broker received docs at loading; customs cleared on arrival at Folkestone without holding. Delivered Manchester 4 days after Barcelona loading.

First UK load post-Brexit for us. They walked us through EORI, the ROO statement, and the HS classification. Felt like training, not just freight.

Project Logistics Lead

Construction equipment dealer · Catalonia, ES → Hesse, DE

High-volume · crane-offload coordination · JIT install window

Quote request

A 5-tonne compact mobile crane (3.0 × 2.0 × 2.5m, within standard trailer envelope — no over-dimension permit) to a Frankfurt urban construction site. Destination required weekend-only access window (Saturday 06:00–Sunday 20:00), on-site crane-offload from a 60-tonne rental crane to position the unit inside a narrow courtyard.

Service

Loaded Thursday 14:00 Barcelona, arrived Frankfurt Saturday 04:30 — parked at staging area until the 06:00 window opened. Coordinated with Frankfurt-based rental crane company: 60t crane on-site 05:50, lift and placement complete 06:45. Truck departed same morning.

Weekend-only access in central Frankfurt with a courtyard lift isn't a normal — it's a choreography. Their dispatch rehearsed the timings with the rental crane company the Monday before. Zero improvisation on the day.

Head of Inbound Logistics

Automotive OEM Tier-1 · Catalonia, ES → Baden-Württemberg, DE

ADR Class 9 (lithium) · JIT · tail-lift

Quote request

Urgent lithium-ion battery modules (UN 3480, state-of-charge at 30%) for a car-assembly line in Stuttgart with a 48-hour JIT window. Needed: ADR Class 9 driver, UN-approved packaging verified at pickup, tail-lift delivery at a receiving dock without forklift access, MDGD + written instructions.

Service

Pickup verified the UN-packaging cert at shipper (two pallets re-packed on-site after one didn't meet spec). Loaded 14:00 Monday, non-stop dual-driver team, tail-lift delivery Wednesday 11:30 — 46 hours door-to-door. Battery modules hit the line before the planned change-over.

Line-stop cost per hour is five figures. SAVA caught a packaging non-conformity at our supplier, fixed it on the dock, and still made the window. That's not freight — that's operations.

Import Manager

Agricultural equipment dealer · Catalonia, ES → Cluj region, RO

· crane-offload · enclosed-yard delivery

Quote request

A 5-tonne compact agricultural tractor (5.0 × 2.45 × 2.6m — standard trailer envelope) destined for an enclosed farm yard in rural Cluj with no ramp access. Delivery required crane-offload from the flatbed onto a raised concrete plinth inside the yard. Narrow gate entry (3.2m wide), 7m manoeuvring room, swing radius tight.

Service

Pre-site surveyed via video call with the farm — confirmed crane access, plinth dimensions, gate clearance. Coordinated with a Cluj-based heavy-lift crane company (25-tonne mobile, sufficient for a 5t lift at range). Delivered Barcelona → Cluj in 4 days, crane arrived 60 min before truck, tractor set down on plinth in 20 minutes, truck departed same afternoon.

You try explaining to a Catalan freight dispatcher that the delivery involves a crane lift, a plinth, and gate-width constraints in rural Transylvania. SAVA's Cluj office just said 'yes' and sent a site survey.

Export Director

Agricultural irrigation manufacturer · Murcia, ES → Emilia-Romagna, IT

· high-volume irrigation equipment · intra-EU

Quote request

Drip-irrigation system modules and reels (21 pallets, ~15t, bulky but within trailer envelope) from a Murcia manufacturer to a farm-tech distributor in Bologna. Intra-EU, no customs; just time-sensitive for the spring irrigation install season.

Service

Picked up Murcia Monday 16:00, tautliner loaded on-site, delivered Bologna Thursday 10:00. Clean CMR, no damage on bulky reels despite the mixed-dimension pallets.

Murcia isn't Barcelona — most Spanish hauliers treat us like a detour. SAVA treated our pickup like a scheduled stop, not a favour.

Logistics Manager

Canned-food cooperative · Murcia, ES → West Midlands, UK

Customs-managed · LTL · post-Brexit

Quote request

11 pallets of canned vegetables and preserved produce to a UK grocery wholesaler in Birmingham. Post-Brexit: needed EXS from Spain, UK import declaration + rules-of-origin for TCA preferential tariff, SPS check not required (processed/canned).

Service

EXS and ROO statement prepared same day as booking. UK broker had paperwork before the truck left Spain. Cleared at Folkestone in under an hour, delivered Birmingham 5 days after Murcia pickup.

Post-Brexit almost killed our UK export line until we found someone who treats customs as scheduling, not an afterthought.

Export Manager

Olive oil producer · Sevilla, ES → Bavaria, DE

· ambient · palletized consumer goods

Quote request

26 pallets of boxed extra-virgin olive oil to a German gourmet-food distributor in Munich. Temperature range fine for ambient transport (olive oil stable 10–25°C). Full truckload direct to keep product off a multi-stop groupage.

Service

Loaded Sevilla 08:00 Monday, direct overnight haul with single driver handoff at French border, delivered Munich Thursday 07:30. POD signed, no broken seals.

The distributor insisted on FTL for shelf-life reasons. SAVA didn't push back, didn't try to upsell groupage, just quoted the FTL and ran it.

Aerospace Logistics Coordinator

Aerospace precision components · Sevilla, ES → Lombardy, IT

· high-value · JIT install window · intra-EU

Quote request

A single crated precision subassembly for an Italian airframe subcontractor in Milan — high value (~€280k), fragile, non-ADR. Required a 48h JIT window aligned to the subcontractor's install schedule, with a crane-offload at destination.

Service

Exclusive-use with a sealed trailer, GPS tracked live to the customer's logistics team. Loaded Sevilla Tuesday 07:00, Milan Thursday 06:30. Customer's rental crane on-site 07:00. Zero damage, zero schedule slip.

The part was worth a six-figure sum and the install slot was fixed. We needed a carrier that would treat 'JIT' like a contract term, not marketing.

Retail Distribution Manager

Fashion retailer (multi-store) · Madrid, ES → Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, FR

Tail-lift delivery · multi-drop · LTL

Service

All 5 drops completed 09:00–15:30 in a single vehicle rotation. Tail-lift equipped, Euro 6 pre-registered for Lyon ZFE. One missing SKU flagged at drop 3 — escalated back to Madrid DC while still in the city.

Five drops, five dock setups, five sign-offs in one city day. Missed one SKU but we got a photo-verified flag before the next drop — not after.

Pharmaceutical manufacturer (ambient) · Madrid, ES → South East, UK

Customs-managed post-Brexit · · ambient pharma (non-cold-chain)

FTL of ambient-storage pharmaceutical products (no cold chain required) from a Madrid pharma manufacturer to a UK import agent near Reading. Post-Brexit: EXS + MHRA-aligned documentation, specific product-licensing references needed on the commercial invoice, GB EORI verified on consignee.

Service

Pharma-specific documentation reviewed against MHRA guidance before loading. UK broker briefed with product-licence numbers and batch references. Cleared at Folkestone without pull, delivered Reading 4 days after Madrid pickup.

Pharma + post-Brexit is a maze. SAVA didn't pretend to be our regulatory department, but they knew which boxes had to match on which forms.

Service

Regional Galicia picking completed in 2 days, consolidated Thursday at Castellar, dispatched Friday evening. Delivered Nuremberg DC Monday 06:00 — in time for the week's inbound window. No transhipment damage.

Quote request

Metal-pressed body panels (~21 pallets, 14t) from a Galician Tier-2 in Vigo to an automotive plant near Gliwice. Direct FTL, no multi-drop, sealed trailer for supply-chain security.

Service

Loaded Vigo Tuesday, 2-driver team through France and Germany to Poland, delivered Gliwice Saturday 05:45. Seal intact, delivery accepted in 20 minutes at the gate.

Vigo-to-Gliwice isn't a lane most carriers price competitively. SAVA's rate was clean and the transit was spot-on.

Service

2-driver non-stop team, live GPS shared with the customer's logistics control tower, arrived Stuttgart 28 hours after Zaragoza pickup — 8h ahead of window. Delivery window slot held; parts hit the line on schedule.

Paper and cardboard converter · Zaragoza, ES → South Holland, NL

· high-volume paper · palletized

Quote request

Bulky corrugated-cardboard roll stock (24 pallets, ~21t, volume-heavy) from a Zaragoza paper converter to a Rotterdam packaging warehouse. Volume filled the trailer before weight did — classic volumetric load.

Service

Mega trailer (100m³) dispatched to fit the bulk. Loaded Zaragoza Wednesday, delivered Rotterdam Sunday 08:00 in the receiving window. No paper-roll damage despite bulky handling.

Volumetric loads are where a standard tautliner fails you. The Mega trailer was the right call without us having to spell it out.

Operations Manager

Woodworking machinery maker · Lleida, ES → Veneto, IT

· high-volume machinery · tail-lift install

Quote request

A single industrial woodworking machine (4.8 × 2.4 × 2.5m, 4.5 tonnes — within standard trailer envelope) from a Lleida manufacturer to a furniture factory near Treviso. Required tail-lift delivery because the receiving bay had no dock; install crew ready on receiving side.

Service

Loaded Lleida with a reinforced tautliner + tail-lift spec'd at 3t minimum. Delivered Treviso 3 days later, tail-lift handled the machine to floor level, receiving crew rolled it to its install bay in 30 min.

A 4.5-tonne machine, no dock, no crane budget at receiving. The tail-lift truck solved the problem without a separate rental.

Shipping Coordinator

Paper products manufacturer · Lleida, ES → Hauts-de-France, FR

· palletized paper · intra-EU

Quote request

33 pallets of printing-grade paper to a French packaging printer near Lille. Weight within norms (~22t), no ADR, but pallets stacked at variable heights requiring trailer-internal stabilization.

Service

Loaded Lleida Tuesday PM, delivered Lille Friday 07:30. Pallet stabilization straps pre-positioned; no load shift despite the mixed stack heights.

Most carriers would have refused the load geometry or charged oversize for a standard trailer. SAVA briefed the loader before pickup.

Export Lead

Tomato processing cooperative · Miajadas (Extremadura), ES → Bavaria, DE

· ambient food-grade · intra-EU

Quote request

1,040 kg drums of tomato paste (24 drums, total ~25t) from a Miajadas processing plant to a German food-ingredients distributor in Nuremberg. Ambient transport, no cold-chain; load rated for food-grade trailer cleanliness.

Service

Food-grade cleaning certificate issued for the trailer pre-loading. Loaded Miajadas Monday, delivered Nuremberg Thursday AM. Customer audit accepted the cleaning documentation without a resample.

Miajadas is an out-of-the-way pickup for most hauliers. SAVA priced it like a scheduled stop and included the trailer-cleaning certificate without us asking.

Difficulty · 7/10

Export Manager

Preserved agricultural goods · Miajadas (Extremadura), ES → South East, UK

Customs-managed · · post-Brexit

Palletized canned and jarred preserved agricultural products (processed, shelf-stable, non-refrigerated) from Miajadas to a UK food-import agent in Kent. Post-Brexit: EXS, UK import declaration, rules-of-origin, no SPS check (products are processed).

Service

Miajadas pickup Tuesday, documentation prepared and sent to UK broker while en route. Folkestone clearance under an hour, delivered Kent 5 days after loading.

Miajadas → UK sounds like a punishment for the dispatcher. SAVA didn't treat it that way; the documentation arrived at UK customs before the truck did.

Service

Loaded Granada Friday 07:00, delivered Turin Tuesday 06:30. No glass breakage despite the volumetric fill; receiving crew unloaded in 2 hours.

Granada is a Friday pickup nobody wants. SAVA scheduled it without a surcharge and delivered on Tuesday as promised.

Service

Loaded Granada Monday, delivered Marseille Wednesday 08:00 — intra-EU, no customs, CMR only. No handling damage on the crated pumps.

Granada to Marseille isn't a flagship lane, but they quoted it at a fair rate and delivered without fuss.

Logistics Manager

Steel coil distributor · Oviedo (Asturias), ES → North Rhine-Westphalia, DE

· heavy-weight steel · secured load

Quote request

3 cold-rolled steel coils (total ~21t, compact volume, within payload limits) from an Asturias steelworks to a German automotive press shop near Düsseldorf. Load secured with coil wells and chain restraints; no over-weight permit needed (axle distribution within spec).

Service

Loaded Oviedo with coil wells in place, 2-driver team, delivered Düsseldorf 3.5 days after pickup. Axle weights compliant at every scale check. Customer's receiving department audited the chain pattern — passed first time.

Steel coils are weight-distribution problems, not 'cargo'. SAVA's driver knew the axle math without us having to explain it.

Export Director

Industrial valve manufacturer · Oviedo (Asturias), ES → Antwerp region, BE

· high-volume industrial · intra-EU

Quote request

A consolidated load of industrial valves and manifold assemblies (~18 pallets, 17t, varying shapes up to 3.5 × 2.0 × 2.4m, 4.8t heaviest unit — all within trailer envelope) from an Asturias valve plant to a chemical-plant contractor in Antwerp.

Service

Loaded Oviedo Tuesday PM, 2-driver team via France, delivered Antwerp Friday 07:00. Heaviest units positioned over the drive axle for weight balance; no load shift across ~1,700 km.

Eighteen pallets, every one a different shape. Normal carriers either refuse or oversize the quote. SAVA did the load planning and came in on a clean rate.

Operational FAQ

Practical answers to the questions we get most — rates, minimums, compliance.

  • Do you ship from Spain to Germany?

Yes. Departures Monday to Friday (3x/week) from our Castellar del Vallès (Barcelona) hub to the major German industrial corridors — Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg. Transit depends on the delivery zone and is published zone by zone on the corridor page. LTL from 200€/LDM; quoted per load.

  • What is your minimum shipment size?

From 1 pallet (groupage / LTL) up to a full 13.6m truck (FTL). No minimum weight. We consolidate pallets on weekly scheduled lanes across 17 European countries — so a single pallet rides the same corridor a full truck would.

  • Do you transport ADR (dangerous goods)?

Yes, on qualifying classes. Drivers are ADR-certified, workflow is DGSA-signed, and CMR insurance cover up to 300,000€ applies to every load including ADR. We move Class 3, 8 and 9 freight routinely into battery, automotive and chemical sites across the EU.

  • Do you have your own warehouse?

Yes. Our Castellar del Vallès facility handles receiving, palletized storage, stock management, and order preparation. Customs-bonded operations are available on request. Barcelona metro location means same-day pickup windows across Catalonia and next-day into Madrid and Valencia.

  • Do you ship to the UK post-Brexit?

Yes. We run a customs-managed corridor into the UK with licensed destination brokers. Customs coordinated on both sides of the channel; IPAFFS submitted for qualifying food consignments. Transit depends on the delivery zone, clearance included, and we give it for the exact delivery postcode when you ask for a quote.
