What we handle
ADR is the European agreement governing the international road transport of dangerous goods. If your product has a UN number, is packed in a UN-approved packaging, and falls into one of the ADR classes, it needs ADR-compliant transport.
We carry most packaged ADR classes on our scheduled Spain-origin lanes — automotive fluids, paints and coatings, industrial chemicals, battery cells and battery packs, cosmetics with flammable propellants, pharmaceutical components, and similar commercial hazardous loads. We do not move Class 1 (explosives) or Class 7 (radioactive). For any specific UN number, we confirm fit before booking.

Which ADR classes do you handle?
We handle most standard packaged ADR classes on our scheduled lanes. We don't handle Class 1 explosives or Class 7 radioactive material. For a specific UN number, send it with your quote request and we'll confirm fit before accepting the booking.
Can you move ADR on LTL groupage, or only FTL?
Both, within segregation rules. Some ADR classes can't share a truck with each other or with certain non-ADR goods. Our dispatch checks segregation compatibility before consolidating — if your load can't groupage on a given departure, we'll tell you and propose the next slot or an alternative.
Do I need to supply the DGD myself?
You supply the Safety Data Sheet and product classification; we prepare the Dangerous Goods Declaration based on that. Final responsibility for the accuracy of the classification rests with you as the shipper.
Are your ADR rates different from standard freight?
Yes — ADR shipments carry a specific-risk surcharge to cover driver certification, equipment, and compliance overhead. The surcharge is quoted openly on the written quote, not hidden.

Which ADR classes do you transport?
Most packaged ADR classes on scheduled Spain-origin lanes: Class 3 (flammable liquids — paints, solvents, fuel additives), Class 4.1 and 4.2 (some flammable solids and substances), Class 6.1 (toxic — subject to UN-number review), Class 8 (corrosives — industrial chemicals), Class 9 (miscellaneous — lithium batteries, airbag modules, magnetized materials). We do NOT carry Class 1 (explosives) or Class 7 (radioactive). For any specific UN number, we confirm fit before booking.
Can you carry lithium batteries (UN 3480, 3481, 3090, 3091)?
Yes, on scheduled lanes. Requirements: UN-approved packaging (not standard corrugated), state-of-charge ≤30% for UN 3480 / 3090 where applicable, multimodal Dangerous Goods Declaration prepared by shipper or carrier, and a driver with ADR Class 9 certification. We transport lithium regularly — it's a high-volume vertical for us, especially on Spain → Germany (automotive) and Spain → UK.
Are your drivers ADR-certified?
Drivers on ADR-designated lanes hold current ADR certificates appropriate to the classes they carry — this is a hard legal requirement across the European Agreement (ADR). Our fleet is equipped per ADR: orange plates, appropriate fire extinguishers, PPE, spill containment kits, written instructions in the driver's working language. We do not subcontract ADR loads to carriers without verified certification.
Can ADR goods travel on groupage (LTL), or only FTL?
Both, with constraints. On LTL we consolidate only with ADR-compatible cargo — we do not mix reactive pairs (e.g. Class 3 flammable with Class 5 oxidizer). Some UN numbers with segregation requirements are FTL-only. We review the load sheet before accepting to confirm the consolidation is compliant. For Class 1 and Class 7 we don't carry at all, full-truck or groupage.
What paperwork do you prepare for ADR loads?
In-house: Multimodal Dangerous Goods Declaration (MDGD), transport documents in the required languages, written instructions for the driver (ADR Part 5.4). You provide: the safety data sheet (SDS) for each substance, the UN-approved packaging certification if we haven't seen it before, and — for non-EU lanes — any export licence required by Spanish authorities. We're happy to walk a first-time ADR exporter through this before the first load.
