A public holiday carries the same ban as a Sunday. These are the ones ahead.
Nightly ban. A night-time ban (22:00–05:00) applies to trucks over 7.5 t on many roads year-round.
Tyrol restrictions. Tyrol applies a sectoral ban on certain goods (A12 Inntal) plus seasonal weekend bans (A12/A13/A14, summer 06:00–15:00 Saturdays; winter 07:00–15:00 Saturdays). Confirm current Tyrol rules separately.
CJEU Advocate General opinion (July 2026). On 16 July 2026 the CJEU Advocate General issued a non-binding opinion that Austria's Tyrol night ban, sectoral ban (A12), and winter Saturday ban 'may be incompatible with EU law' given improved air quality. All three bans remain fully in force pending the Court's final binding judgment — no date announced.
