Event logistics: delivery at the agreed time, collection when it ends
For caterers, furniture and tableware hire companies, AV suppliers, production companies and promoters. We take your equipment to the venue in the window set in the quote, collect it afterwards and, if needed, store it between events.
What does SAVA LOGISTIC do for event companies?
SAVA LOGISTIC carries event equipment for businesses in Spain and towards Europe. Delivery to the venue at the time agreed in the quote, collection after the event, weekend and night work, a tail-lift truck, a small city vehicle or a full trailer, loading and set-up crew on request, and storage between events at the Castellar del Vallès warehouse. No refrigerated transport and no pyrotechnics.

What we do
We move event equipment between your depot and the venue, in Spain and towards Europe: hotels, country estates, exhibition centres, auditoriums and festival sites. We deliver at the time agreed in the quote, weekends and nights included, and come back for the equipment when the event or the load-out ends.
The vehicle follows the access: a truck with a tail-lift if the venue has no loading dock, a small vehicle for city centres and narrow streets, or a full trailer for large builds. On request we provide a loading and set-up crew, and your equipment can stay in our Castellar del Vallès warehouse between one event and the next.
We also work in the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera) and in the Canary Islands, always quoted individually.
What we don't do
- No refrigerated transport: for caterers we move tableware, furniture, kitchens and dry equipment at ambient temperature.
- No pyrotechnics (ADR Class 1).
- We do not operate sound, lighting or video equipment and we do not do rigging: we provide a loading and set-up crew.
- No private individuals and no house moves.

How we work
At the agreed time
The delivery time or time window at the venue is set in the quote, and we plan the route to meet it.
Venue access
Before assigning a vehicle we ask about access: loading dock or not, narrow street, city centre, and the venue's own load-in hours.
Tail-lift, city vehicle or trailer
A truck with a tail-lift for venues without a dock, a small vehicle for city-centre access and a full trailer for large builds or long legs.
Loading and set-up crew
On request, crew to load, unload and set up at the venue the equipment we carry.
Collection after the event
We come back for the equipment when the event or the load-out ends, in the window we agreed.
Weekends and nights
We deliver and collect at weekends and at night, which is when events are built and struck.
Storage between events
Your equipment can stay in our Castellar del Vallès warehouse between one event and the next instead of going back to your depot.

Rules worth knowing
Low-emission zones
In Barcelona the Rondes low-emission zone applies on weekdays during working hours, not at weekends or on public holidays; Madrid and València have their own rules. With the venue address we check the zone before assigning a vehicle.
Equipment leaving the EU
Professional equipment that goes to the United Kingdom or Switzerland and comes back usually travels on an ATA Carnet, which the owner of the equipment requests from the Chamber of Commerce. The Canary Islands also need customs formalities.

Trucks over 7.5 t face weekend and public-holiday restrictions in several countries. Event equipment has three exemptions we have checked against the official text, all with conditions:
France
A permanent exemption, with no permit to apply for, for equipment and material for economic, sporting, cultural, educational, charitable or political events, if the event takes place no more than four days before or after the journey. At a roadside check, the driver must prove it with documents on board or in digital form.
Return: loaded, within the event's region and neighbouring regions; empty, within the region of first loading or last unloading and neighbouring regions.

Truck bans in France →Italy
No automatic exemption: the prefecture may authorise vehicles for live shows, sporting events, trade fairs and markets, with documents showing the need to travel. The request is filed at least ten days before departure, with the prefecture of the province of departure or of the haulier's registered office, and the truck displays a green sign with the letter “a”.
Return: empty only if the permit says so.

A permanent exemption, with no need to request it, for loaded vehicles setting up trade fairs, exhibitions and shows or serving sporting, cultural, educational or political events. Basque Country roads only.

Each exemption depends on meeting its conditions and on the authorities (the prefecture in Italy, the officers at each roadside check). SAVA cannot guarantee that the truck will run at the weekend: we check every route when we quote. Official texts checked on 25 September 2026.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of companies do you work for?
Caterers; furniture, tableware, marquee and décor hire companies; AV suppliers; production companies; festival promoters and event agencies. We do not move goods for private individuals and we do not do house moves.
Can you deliver at a set time on a Saturday night?
Yes. We work at weekends and at night. The delivery time or window is set in the quote and planned around the venue's access. If the truck is over 7.5 t and there is a traffic ban that day, we tell you when we quote.
What information do you need to price it?
The event date, the venue address, the delivery window and the collection window if there is one, the type of access (dock, no dock or narrow street), the approximate volume in pallets, flight cases or cubic metres, and whether you need a set-up crew or storage. The form on this page asks for exactly that.
Can you store the equipment between two events?
Yes, in our warehouse in Castellar del Vallès, near Barcelona. That way the equipment does not have to go back to your depot when the next event is close in the calendar.
Who is liable if high-value equipment is damaged?
A carrier's legal liability is capped per kilo (the CMR Convention internationally, Law 15/2009 within Spain), which falls well short for expensive equipment. For valuable kit, declare the value or take out insurance; our cargo insurance and CMR guide explains the options.
