Spain-Origin Export Logistics · Wine & Beverages
Wine and beverage logistics from Spain
Spain is the world's third-largest wine producer and a major exporter of olive oil, craft spirits, and packaged beverages. We move palletized, ambient-temperature wine and beverage freight across 16 European corridors on scheduled LTL and dedicated lanes.
Why this sector ships with us
Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Cava from Penedès, Priorat, Rías Baixas — Spain's denominaciones de origen generate constant export demand to European distribution centres. Most wine freight is cased bottles on pallets, shipped ambient in curtainsider trailers. We do not operate reefer equipment, so our scope is bottled wine, boxed olive oil, canned beverages, and other shelf-stable products.
Our Barcelona hub in Castellar del Vallès consolidates wine shipments from Catalonia, Aragón, and La Rioja on scheduled LTL departures. For larger producers shipping 10+ pallets, dedicated provides a direct, no-consolidation route to destination warehouses.
Glass handling is built into our protocols. Drivers are briefed on careful loading, pallet-wrap integrity checks, and no double-stacking of cased wine. CMR insurance covers all wine shipments.

Frequently asked
Can you handle glass-bottled wine?
Yes — cased wine in standard retail cartons on pallets is our standard scope. Glass handling protocols are built into driver training. No loose or uncased bottles.
Is temperature-controlled transport available?
No — we transport ambient-temperature wine and beverages in curtainsider and box trailers. Reefer equipment is not in our fleet. Suitable for bottled wine, olive oil, and packaged beverages.
What about excise duty for UK wine exports?
Our UK customs partners coordinate WOWGR (Warehousekeeper and Owner of Warehoused Goods Regulations) documentation for wine imports. We do not store duty-suspended goods — we deliver to the bonded warehouse your importer designates.
What is the minimum shipment?
One EUR pallet on LTL groupage. Most wine clients ship 3–12 pallets per order on our scheduled consolidation lanes.
