Spain–EU road freight: the essentials
How long does road freight from Spain to Europe take?
Transit is not one number per country: it depends on the delivery zone and on the area we collect from. Each corridor publishes its own measured table, zone by zone, and when you ask for a quote we give you the transit time for the exact delivery postcode.
How often do trucks depart?
All lanes depart on Monday and Friday, except Denmark and Sweden, which have one departure every two weeks. We confirm pickup and delivery arrangements for your specific shipment.
Which corridors need customs clearance?
The United Kingdom and Switzerland are the two non-EU lanes with regular departures: import clearance is handled by our licensed destination-country broker partners. Moldova and Türkiye also need full customs and are routed and priced shipment by shipment, on request. The other 14 corridors are intra-EU and move on a CMR consignment note with no customs.
How much can I ship per corridor?
2 LDM billed, or 0.4 LDM for Romania; pallets below 500 kg are accepted with the applicable minimum charge. Several corridors carry a verified groupage profile of up to 6–8 LDM; figures are indicative and confirmed on your written quote.
